Hey Steemians. How about some open tacos / tostadas?!
So, I am always looking for a way to spice it up a bit and I think I hit a home run on this one.
When we first arrived in Chile, 3.5 years ago now, we could not get Mexican food ingredients. My family was so bummed. We thought like everybody else, everything south of Texas was Mexico, right?! Well, that is definitely not the case, especially here in Chile. However, just in recent months, I am very happy to report that more and more ingredients are making their way in. Not only that, but one of the big bread here is now producing tortillas, yeah!! (Although, my homemade tortillas are still way better).
As I have said many times, we have tones of berries here in Chile, especially in the South so this is a great way to prepare a batch of raspberries.
I hope you enjoy the photos
RECIPE available upon request
I am on the road, currently in Santiago. But fortunately, I have some posts ready to go for while I was gone. Below, I have a picture of my workstation this morning on the roof of the Hyatt Place hotel. I will be saying a lot more about that in a future post, don't worry.
