The alpha - lipoic content of beetroot lowers glucose level, increases insulin sensitivity and prevents oxidative stress-induced changes in diaabetics

Hi @greatness96 and thank you for sharing. I eat a lot of beetrooot, mainly from a jar in sweet pickled vinegar. My mum as I recall would buy it fresh and boil it in salt, that wasn't for me and as for juicing I may give it a try. Not sure if this is me either but they do say don't knock it till you try it.
