It’s Sunday, it’s time for brunch

in #food7 years ago

I love Sundays! Love the quiet streets and lazy mood. No one is in a hurry, maybe only for coffee or breakfast. Though I’m a coffee junkie and I have my coffee routine, on Sundays, I want to be a sloth and do nothing in a hurry.

This dish I discovered in Berlin and it was awesome. It’s a recipe perfect for brunches. I am obssesed with it.
Definitely, you should try it!

Ingredients
2 poached eggs
10 g butter melted
10 ml olive oil
Greek yogurt
Garlic powder
Chives/spring onion chopped
Smoked paprika

  1. Melt the butter and mix it with smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Stir in olive oil. Cover it.
  2. Mix yogurt with garlic powder. You can use fresh garlic, if you want.
  3. Poach eggs using your favorite technique.
  4. In a bowl, pour the yogurt, melted butter and carefully place eggs.
  5. Sprinkle some green over!

Also, this recipe is a Turkish one, I think it’s called Sultana’s eggs.

Enjoy your Sunday!
