Redo of my intro. Check out what I cooked !

in #food3 years ago

Hello everyone, second day here. Sorry I was busy yesterday and I could not post one. So, technically third day here :)

I got some comments from @lovesniper @fionasfavourites and I am trying to make a more detailed intro of me.
Also a very helpful comment from @brittandjosie. Thank you guys <3

I was looking for contents to post here on Hive and I did not have much to offer. But it hit me, my girlfriend is a foodie and she likes to try out new restaurants and dishes, some Italian, some Japanese or Indian. We love going on lunch/dinner dates. She loves the food and I take photographs before we devour them to our heart's content. I usually post them on google maps to get people drooling there too lol. Oh! Im about to reach 400k views there (just checked)

Anyway, so I decided to post those meals we had and the pictures of it (those are my highlights actually). Also, kind of re-live them and describe how those dishes felt in my taste buds. We haven't got a chance to go on those dates again :( stupid pandemic.

@brittandjosie I did check out your article for quality post and those were some helpful tips. I could not up vote it since it was an old post. I don't know what that is about. I liked the part about images and effort. I am going to put in effort and passion into my posts. I actually have not done much blogging but my friend suggested this was the best place to do it and the community is very welcoming.

Finally here's a picture to drool on :D

Not so good looking but home made and healthy

So these were the burgers me and my family made, including the buns, since we could not get any during this lock-down. The patty is also home made. Believe it or not this took us 2 days to make. The buns were "yeasted" and left overnight so that it puffed just right. Then the next day we worked on the patty. It took us a while to grind the meat, marinate them and other things (I wasn't involved much since I had some work). Finally we could not skip the cheese so I had to smuggle some cheese from our nearest grocery store (They were'nt open at the time). I had to call up the uncle and request him to get some cheese. Thank god he agreed. And finally we started cooking them like so.

We didn't have lettuce on hand but we made do with tomatoes, ketchup and mayonnaise. It was fun and worth the effort during this pandemic. But man I wish I had a professional made burger right now. So hungry.
