How To Stop Being Lazy.

Sloth: I'm too lazy to stop being lazy...

Most of us have been at that point in life when we were lazy. So these are a few ways to stop being lazy and use your time wisely. After all, our average life expectancy is only a few decades on this earth.

1 Drink more water

Why does it stop you from being lazy? This might not seem like a solution that will tackle laziness, but drinking water has an huge impact on your productivity. Why? Drinking water significantly increases your body's metabolism, which basically means that drinking water will raise your energy levels, keeping you more energized. For instance, just by merely drinking one glass of water after you wake up will increase your metabolism by a staggering 24% so if you want to stop being lazy and be more productive, make it a habit to drink a glass of water in the morning right after you wake up. Drinking water also impacts your brain significantly, since our brain is around 75% to 85% made up of water and what happens when we drink water? Water is like fuel for our brains since it is made up of mostly water. The more you drink, the better your brain will work. However, moderation has to be followed as too much water will have negative effects but that is only if you drink too much water.

2 Exercise

Many studies have been done to show that exercising have more energy compared to those who don't. For instance, by just merely going for an 15-minute jog in the morning can have a big impact on the rest of you day. Exercising also makes you happy, whats not to love? Since it makes you happy, it will also have an impact on your motivation for the rest of your day to get work done, when you are motivated your energy levels are sparked. Its important for our bodies to exercise in order for it to function properly, nowadays we spend most of our time in front of computers and rarely do anything tiring, probably thats why we are so lazy.

3 Have a good night's rest.

Now, exercising improves your sleep quality so theres an correlation there. Numerous studies have shown that we have limited willpower, often times our willpower are drained then we are tired after that, if you feel lazy and unmotivated you energy levels are low so one of the best ways to increase your willpower to get through the day is to have a good night's rest, not only how long you sleep is important, but also the quality of your sleep is even more so. Make sure that you have an good sleeping enviroment, free of light and noises that could distract you from sleeping. Also remember to set your body's internal clock, so wake and sleep every day at similar timings so you can train yourself to wake up without an alarm clock disturbing you every time you get up!

4 Reduce the consumption of sugary foods.

Reduce the amount of sugary foods that you eat, ideally no more then 50 grams per day. Research show that we are taking way above this amount which is way above what you need every day, depending on where you live. Foods like cookies, sugary drinks like coke, cakes, candies and everything else that has tons of sugar even more then you think. For instance, a can of coke has around 50 grams of sugar. Sugar may give you an short energy boost as it increases your insulin level but that is short-lasting and followed by a crash, you will feel much more tired and lazy then before you were in a sugar rush unless you keep consuming sugar continuously which i do not recommend you do. So if you want to have a sharp mind, you better start to limit yourself to more nutritious food, your brain and body will thank you.

I agree with yr #SLEEP #TIPS - it's best to head to bed at similar times.

And I am going for a drink of water [Hydronium Ions, as I like 2 call 'em } right now !

Haha, okay.

Liked yr sloth video too - Ha, he is rather slow.. I wonder if he lives long time, as he 'takes it easy'.

Meaning he doesn't have much #stress in his life [kinda REMINDS me of the Koala Bear in his laidback approach ]
