Small Town Bakery - Hidden Gem

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend! We enjoyed some great weather today in Melbourne and visited town of Meeniyan which is 2hrs south east of CBD. It is a small town with a lot of charm and friendly people. We walked around some stores and explored local produce on a Garlic festival, but of the places that had the most impact on our family was a Bakery. We tend to think that every town has one and they are usually similar, but it is not the case this time!

This place is completely unique and offers amazing sourdough bread selection (we bought some pumpkin bread last time, but they did not have it today, so I included some photos from our last trip as well). Emily loves the doughnuts and was asking for one as soon as we got out of the car.

Place is set up nicely and offers cakes and drink as well, so next time we will plan to stay longer and enjoy some sweets. The prices are reasonable for the quality they offer but keep in mind that if you are after cheap meal it is not that kind of place, it is more for people that will appreciate the craftsmanship that is put in to making high quality produce. I love a good sourdough bread with crispy skin, baked to perfection and it not so easy to find good bakeries in Australia and this little shop is worth the drive!
