Maine travel and local food go hand in hand here. Fresh market goods, shell fish, and lobster seem to be plentiful. Here fresh nature, seafood, and conservation seem to go hand in hand. There does not seem to be a culture of littering, and people seem to take pride in their surroundings. Park rangers talk with you with a smile, and local tourists don't go through an area leaving a trash tornado.
Light houses, and clam beds dot the shoreline where people live, work, and rest. The cool brisk air awakens you, and stirs you as the fog slowly melts away.

Everywhere we go Maine’s signature sandwich awaits us, and we indulge ourselves all along the way.

I enjoyed living in Brunswick for a few years. Just down the road from me was a marina where the fisherman docked!
Great food, and great people.
