So much wasting... you are right about someone's waste is treasure for some others.
In France, in bakeries they put in a garbage bread and pastry that haven't been sold in a day... at some they just put them on a clean way for people to take it in some others they throw it in the way that you can get it. I try to get dry bread for chickens and horses.
In big markets they don't give access to food put in garbage and they destroy it with some bleach... with an argument :
**If people find food and eat it and get sick... they don't want to be responsible for any health damages... **
Some associations take out dated (1, 2 or 3 days) food and then select some that can be given to families. I used to work on a selection process and I saw how much food is wasted... Why produce so much???
