Have you tried Cava lately?
Some have been calling it the new Chipotle, with its similar offerings and dining style etc, the stock has been growing since its IPO and has seen an impressive rise this year.
The company has been growing around the United States for years, though you might have only recently become familiar with it because of the news surrounding the impressive demand they've been seeing as of late.
They've got hundreds of locations already and it looks like Texas is the one state which has the most locations with over 60 Cava restaurants there.
growing, growing, growing
Cava still plans to continue with expansion and growing to capture more of the quick service market, focusing on things like drive-thru and digital sales, and possibly reaching 1,000 locations or more within less than 10 years.
Cava does have similar fresh food offerings, with a focus on being able to customize what you want. However, Cava has been dubbed the Mediterranean Chipotle as the food options do vary and for now Chipotle is a much larger company. How long might it be before we see Cava potentially reach that level though?
Americans might be budgeting more and cutting back on eating out but there are still plenty of sales quick service restaurants are seeing, even the more expensive ones. There is still that opportunity for growth despite it seeming like it would be difficult to realize those expansion plans given economic difficulties many are facing. Recession or no recession, millions of people still have to eat.
