Do you like dark chocolate?

If your answer is yes, did you know what it means to be a good taster of real chocolate?

In Venezuela, it is very common to refer to chocolate to that product that has milk, if it is dark we give a stop to the gentleman of the kiosk and give us one with more sugar, or you may be the lucky ones who love the dark dark.

Dark chocolate is considered the true one due to a higher content of cocoa, being the healthiest. It is a complete food that is considered functional, since three main properties are attributed to it:

  1. Anticoagulant, which acts as "cleanser of arteries" due to substances called flavonoids, which in turn participate as an antioxidant.

  2. Antioxidant, reduces oxidative stress, attributed to aging, you will be young forever -no, lie-.

  3. Stimulant, such as mild stimuli caused by theobromine, caffeine and phenylethylamine. So the brain will be more attentive and happy. Having then a feeling of well-being.

All this is thanks to the cocoa from which it comes. You have to know how to differentiate chocolate, since the greater the cocoa content, the more the other types will be added, such as butter, some sugars and fats. Therefore, they will give us more calories and more fat, and their consumption may have possible consequences.

However, despite its benefits, like any healthy food, it should be consumed in moderation and be accompanied by a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

So to eat chocolate!
