Another great article. I am on day 3 of my juice fast. And I’m finding it really hard and painful too. I am amazed that I have managed given how much of a food addict I am. Perhaps you can talk more about food addiction some time. I feel so raw as well. I’ve been crying every day and feel hard done by too. And lots of anxiety in my solar plexus which is why I used food in the first place to soothe that pain. But ended up eating so much so regularly that I ended up feeling a different pain.

Good man Danny! This is amazing to hear. How you feeling today? I have read about extreme emotions coming up. All part of the healing process. Hope you are able to stick with your plan. I feel sure it will help you massively.

Keep the carbs UP Danny. Aim for 3000 calories, and you wont be so emotional. 10 bananas = 1000 calories. ;) Aim for HIGH-Carb.... 10 oranges, the whole melon, etc.. don't restrict calories.

Also I am not complaining about the emotions. I think they have been suppressed for many years and it’s good to cry regularly. There are slot of crazy things in Thai world Ron cry about as well as plenty to laugh about too.

DOnt think so. I spent most of my life being well over carbed!!

P.S. - There are no food "addictions".... rid yourself of this terminology, all addictions fade when you consume ENOUGH (3000 calories, HIGH-Carb daily). Eat 10 bananas, then decide if you want "that thing" -you'll soon see what Im sayin. Therefore, you were not an addict, you were simply dangerously UNDERCARBED (and probably, over-caffeinated ;)

This is a long conversation. The whole subject of addiction Is highly contested. When you juice do you include smoothies? Because I can’t juice bananas? And I was following John rose who advocates a solid food diet. And I’m not sure smoothies count as that?

Forget Juicing. Blend everything.
