Finally done with the long day. 5 hours kitchen work then dinner then 1 1/2 hours Steemit and crypto session with @jasonwes77 and @hooiyewlim.

Nasi Goreng USA

Nothing thing American about this. USA simply stands for, 'Udang (prawns), sotong (squid), ayam (chicken)' and translates as "Fried rice with Prawns, Squid and Chicken."

But here's the shocker. Around the whole KL you'll find this at Malay roadside stalls up till shopping malls and restaurants that serve this and it comes with a choice of either chicken or beef and the latter the more prefered one. There's no prawns or squid for that matter so the name is just..... well..... the name 😂

How did this happen? Go figure!

This dish is typically beef slices stir-fried with slices onions, carrots, vegetables of choice, and a spicy, semi sweet sauce with fried rice and a fried runny yolk egg. As you can see this one didn't have the best of eggs the way it's suppose to be but oh well, food is food, eat.....

Chinese-style Chicken and Mushrooms with Steamed Rice

@jasonwes77 had this for his dinner. Consist of some Chinese mushrooms and carrots stir-fried with a whole chicken thigh.

That's all for the food and now here's the awesome thing to reveal!

So today's discussion with my brother @jasonwes77 was about an idea I've been having since joining Steemit in November. Long story short, I'm gonna implement accepting STEEM and STEEM DOLLARS (SBD) as a mode of payment at my burger joints!

I'm discussing with the rest of #teammalaysia as well to get their feedbacks on how we can make this work. It'll be a slight extra work on my end in terms of recording down payments and stuff but I think it'll be well worth it for the Steemit community to benefit.

I'm not the first restraunteur to accept cryptocurrency as a mode of payment, I mean, Bitcoin got it's first valuation because of a Papa John's pizza. So why not STEEM eh? 😊

I'll be announcing on my upcoming posts on when it'll be implemented but I'll definitely be trying to work this out before the end of the month. Part of what I'm wanting to do as well is working out some sort of incentive so that Steemians can benefit from this. Maybe a lucky draw winner or winners at the end of every week/month for people that pay with STEEM or SBD?
