They're delicious- I swear!
Since moving into our new apartment, I've noticed this has become our Saturday morning tradition: chocolate chip waffles for breakfast.
This made from scratch recipe is my absolute favorite and is easily customizable to make regular, chocolate, pumpkin, and paleo waffles. Once again I am using a recipe from Lexi's Clean Kitchen. I have her cookbook on my Kindle, so I cook these every weekend off of that.

Since become gluten free I go through so much almond and tapioca flour I started buying in bulk and storing them in glass jars. I love Guittard Chocolate Chips because they are listed as gluten free. I use either semi-sweet or dark, depending on the intensity of my chocolate craving.
My Kitchen Aid is my trusty side kick, and allows me to stir the eggs and hashbrowns while the waffles are mixing.
Breakfast is served!
I accidentally burned one of the waffles because the scrambled eggs distracted me... So this one's a little crisp!
