Food and Health Awareness | Amla (Gooseberry) having Variety of Health Boosts

in #food7 years ago

Amla belongs to the family Euphorbiaceae. In the humid, wooded and hilly regions of the Indian subcontinent, fruits ripen in the fall and are considered sacred trees in India. The fruits are very nutritious but they are acidic. Fresh and dried fruits can be eaten for their own health benefits.

Health Benefits of Amla (Gooseberry)

Hair Care

Amla is used for many hair tonics because it can enrich hair pigmentation and hair growth. It maintains the color, improves the roots and improves the shine. Eating fresh gooseberries or applying a paste to the hairline can improve hair color and growth.

Aids in Calcium Absorption

The least benefit is that it helps the body absorb calcium optimistically. Calcium is an important part of our teeth, our nails and our bones, it also ensures that we have beautiful hair.

Treats Menstrual Cramps

The vitamins and minerals present in the amla combination are very useful for treating menstrual pains.

Diuretic

In addition to being a very rich fruit, Amra is also a little diuretic. This means increasing the amount and frequency of urination. Urine helps our body eliminate excess moisture, unwanted toxins, uric acid levels and salt.

Prevents Heart Diseases

Amla can increase heart muscle and promote systemic circulation. By reducing chromium accumulation, excess cholesterol in amla can reduce the risk of plaque buildup or atherosclerosis in the blood vessels and arteries.

Relieves Diarrhea & Dysentery

Due to its powerful laxative and refreshing properties, gooseberry is a useful ingredient for the treatment of dysentery and diarrhea. It provides a great relief of hyperacidity (heartburn sensation) and gastric syndrome.

They are low in calories, fat- and cholesterol-free and a good source of essential nutrients including vitamin C, vitamin A, manganese and dietary fiber.
thanks

Amla won't contribute to your indigestion problem coz it's a citrus fruit. You can have it throughout the year. It's better to have amla raw in order to get benefited, either blend it and have the pulp or eat it as it is. You can have the tablets but it won't have the same natural properties that raw ones have.

Thanks a lot for your valuable post. We expect more useful post from u in future.
