I use a fork to pierce holes in the potato, then melt some butter in a dish. I dip and roll the potato in the butter. then throw a large portion of salt on foil paper. I roll the buttered potato in the salt and wrap it up in the foil. Bake for 1 hour at 450 degress
Same here. It's allowing that butter to absorb beneath the skin, yum. Plus the 450 give the skin a nice texture.
