PEANUTS one among my favorite snacks when watching TV or when just chatting around with friends or simply when i just feel hungry and wanted something to eat. Aside from its very unique flavor & taste, a handful of peanuts per day provide enough recommended levels of phenolic antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and protein which is very good for our health. Plus the garlic which adds not only a flavor but has lots of health benefits, the active compound in garlic can improve blood pressue. It is very good for people with hypertension and lowers the risk of heart disease. In Philippines, we used to call fried peanuts + garlic snacks as ADOBONG MANI; Here's the procedure in cooking;
- Crush or cut garlics and fry until golden brown. Set aside.
- Wash the peanut kernels with boiling water to produce a crunchier fried nuts
- Deep Fry peanuts until you hear some nuts cracking meaning the nuts are already cooked.
- Set aside the peanuts and mixed with fried garlic, put some salt to taste.
