I also planted a small orchard this year and will do an article on this in the future

My brkwn and red onions are nearly ready for harvest. I will take some one by one for a start but will have to lift the remainder in o e vo later on.
The courgettes are providing a regular harest and i am letting one grow on to become a marrow. ![20170716_111124.jpg()

There is a particular varuety of cabbage that worked really well for us this year. Its called "april" . We are able to harvest the bottem leaves every week or so and it just keeps growing and producing more and more!20170716_111156.jpg
My leg is beside it for scale

It doesnt have a hard heart like normal cabbage so leaf harvesting is easy, if this cabbage could become more successful o e woukd only need a couple of cabbage plants in the garden, leaving a lot more room fir other items to be grown.

Growing very well in my sun room is a mighty crop of tomatos1500559158418-1874177795.jpg

I am growing them in bags that a commercial strawberry grower was throwing out
They have thrived inside. Here is a photo from 6 weeks ago

Hopefully we will have a sustained harvest from these plants for a long few months.
I am only learning also guys so feel free to ask questions or comment on how i can improve.
I will hopefully be posting regular updates on progress.
Thanks a million
