LaFoodie #2: The Burger that Beats In-N-Out

If you live in California or any of our surrounded states you probably have heard of In-N-Out burger. Probably most people in the good ol' US of A knows about the famous burger joint. (Curious to know if you have heard about it and you are in another country).

Well, I have had a burger that is better in my opinion.

I can hear Angelinos yelling "blasphemy", somewhere a fairy is losing its wings and pretty sure that a pig just flew.

What is this magical, mythical burger?

Shake Shack

Yes, this West Coast girl has decided on an East Coast burger joint as her #1. I can't wait to see the comments on this one. :)

Why you ask?
Taste: the meat has more flavor, the bun is perfect and adding things like the portobello crisp mushroom or bacon make this one that can't be beat.

I do give In-N-Out animal fries the winning vote over the cheesy fries at the Shack. However, the black and white shake beats In-N-Outs shake in my opinion.

Happy to make fellow Steemers drool

Yummilicious burger.

Ya! Following you so I can check out more yummy food

Can only speak to Shake Shack; it's awesome.

I have also heard that In N Out is actually Ove R Rated.

Don't get me wrong it's good, worth a try if you are ever here! I just dream of Shake Shack burgers :)

If you ever get to the Midwest, the chain that we adore as a family is called "Meatheads." I've had Shake Shack, and it's better than Shake Shack. I've had Five Guys - no comparison.

Plus...well, the customer service is off the charts. And the fries are superior to anyone else's.

Probably a dozen stores total? Great place.

Thank you, I will pin it for the food tour I plan to take across the US someday! Lol #foodieforlife

I'm not going to lie, that burger looks excellent! The fries not so much. I've wanted to try a shake shack burger since the chain just exploded back East, but so far I haven't encountered one yet in my travels. It would take a pretty amazing burger to take on the In-N-Out animal style double-double. I wish they would put an In-N-Out in my state. I don't know it just sounds like blasphemy to say any burger is better than In-N-Out. haha But I guess I will take your word for it. :) Thanks for sharing!

I tired Shake Shack once when I was in Dubai but I couldn't lay my opinion on that since it's not original, visited NYC 2 months back hoping to try one there but the queues were insane everywhere! Even the one at the factory outlet out of town! My boyfriend tried it earlier and he prefers in-n-out with the animal style when he was in Cali though. I really wanna try both!!

I tried to go in NYC too and you are right, the lines were too long! Then I lucked out with one in my terminal at the airport! It was still good, even at the airport. Animal style is definitely the way to go when you do try In-N-Out though!
