Easy and Tasty Strawberry Shortcake
Friends this amzing delicious strawberry shortcake is tooo delicious i really want you should try it at your home and enjoy tha taste and losst in the love of strawberry..
wonderful! the only thing i did to make it easier was to use sourcream mixed with splenda brown sugar blend instead of whipping cream :)
This was absolutely fantastic. I was a little nervous because I'm far from an accomplished baker but the shortcake was delightfully tender and rich. One suggestion for us neophytes would be a description of how the dough should appear. I really thought it might be too dry since it was flaky but I trusted and it turned out beautifully :)
here is the sweet recipe .. :
for the strawberries
1 1⁄2 lbs strawberries, stemmed and quartered
3 tablespoons sugar
for the cake
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons sugar
3⁄4 teaspoon salt
1 1⁄2 cups heavy cream
for the whipped cream
1 1⁄2 cups heavy cream, chilled
3 tablespoons sugar
1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
