Masayang pagbabalik sa aking Lutong bahay recipe!
Sa araw na ito ay paglulutuan ko po ulit kayo ng Filipino dish at ito po ang Pork Sinigang sa Lubas or Hog plum. Ang Lubas guys ay karaniwang ginagawang pang asim doon sa amin sa bicol dati po kasi nasa bukid kami nakatira at malayo kami sa bayan kaya pag gusto namin kumain ng sinigang ay ito lamang ang aming ipinang aasim. Tumatawid pa kami ng ilog para makakuha ng talbos at meron paipang asim sa sinigang. Bata pa po ako last nakakain ng pork sinigang sa lubas. Kadalasan na po kasi ngayon ay yung mga sinigang mix na ang ipinang- aasim.
Kaya ko po naisipan na ito ang ipanghalo ko kasi nakita ko ito sa kapitbahay na meron tanim ng Lubas at naalala ko na pwede eto ipang-asim. At gusto ko din po na maibahagi sa inyo ang recipeng ito. Sana po magustuhan ninyo! Kung meron kayo guys jan na lubas try nyo ipang asim kahit anung klaseng ulam pwede po ito gawing pang asim. Sa manok, isda, ginataang manok pwede po ito. Lalo na sobrang gata at maasim asim sobrang sarap po!π
Narito po ang ilan sa mga sangkap na aking gagamitin sa Pork sinigang sa Lubas! simple lamang po ito at madaling lutuin. Sigurado po magugustuhan ninyo ito kapag nasubukan ninyo lutuin. Kasi first time ng father inlow ko makakain ng sinigang sa Lubas at nagustuhn nya po ito at yung asawa ko din nagustuhan nya din. Hindi po nila alam yung lubas kaya na ikwento ko saka nila na ito ang ginagamit namin pang asim sa karne para sa sinigang.
Ang aking masarap na Pork sinigang sa Lubasπ
Cooking time: 1 1/2 hours
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo Pork kasim (cut into square cubes)
9 stalks talbos ng Lubas or hog plum
1 cup white gabi (cut intomedium size)
8 pcs Okra (small)
4 pcs Tomato (cut into 4 each)
2 pc red Onion (cut into 4 each)
2 litters Water
1 tablespoon salt
3 pcs hot green chili
2 tablespoon fish sauce or patis
1 pc knorr pork cubes
Cooking Procedure:
Boiled the water in a cooking pots.
Add the tomato, onion, pork and salt. Then cover it cook until the pork meat is softened.
Add the knorr pork cubes, talbos ng Lubas or hog plum and gabi. Then cover it cook again until the gabi is soft.
Add the fish sauce and hot green chili then taste it.
Serve while the sabaw is mainit. Samahan ng mainit na kanin at sawsawan na patis na may sili. Happy eating!

Lubas is a tree growing to as tall asβ 25 meters and a diameter off (sic) about 60 cm. Bark surface is smooth, with irregular cracks, greyish to pale. source
It has become a favorite tree and could be seen almost in all corners of habitation including bustling ... Libas (or lubas in Bicol) is a popular sinigang agent here. source
