Hey guys, today i want to share with you one of my favorites venezuelan desserts, Golfeados these are little bread rolls with cheese and papelón that is a sweet from the sugar cane used in Latin America. For me this is one of the best Venezuelan desserts. Here I leave you the recipe.

Ingredients:
500 g cheese
800 g flour
200 g papelón
2 eggs
100 g butter
200 ml milk
150 g sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp yeast
2 tbsp vanilla
1 tbsp salt
1/4 water
1 tbsp anise
Preparation:
Melt the papelón with 1/4 cup of water.
Mix the milk with 2 tablespoons of papelón, eggs, 100 g of sugar, yeast, butter, flour, vanilla and anise, then knead the dough on the table and spread it in a rectangular shape, add the papelón, the rest of the sugar, cinnamon and cheese on top.
Roll the dough carefully and then chop into 3cm pieces, let rest for 90 minutes on a baking sheet and add water in the spaces between the golfeados. Bake for 25 minutes at 180° C, remove and spread papelón over each golfeado, bake for 5 more minutes.
