I know pilaf is a wild spread dish and it's known in every region, which traditionally planted rice.
I will teach you how to make a Russian pilaf, adapted to a modern kitchen because traditionally, pilaf should be cooked on open fire.
You should take : any meat, carrots, onion and rice in equal parts.
Traditionally, Crimean Tatar-people use only lamb or beef for a pilaf, but I do a pilaf with others type of meats and poultry
I took a pork in my example and chopped in cubes with 1in sides.
Also, I chopped onion and carrots
Put your pan on a heat and add some oil. Add chopped pork, onion and carrots in the heated pot
Mix the ingredients, add some salt, pepper and any seasonings which you prefer and simmer until veggies become soft. The traditional method suggests to roast until golden brown, but I personally prefer healthier way. But you can try both ways and decide what is the better for you.
After onion becomes transparent and carrots soft, add a rice on top of meat-veggies mixture. DO NOT mix them.
add a water to cover a rice and little bit more. Turn heat on max until water starts to boil and then cover a pan with a lid and turn the heat on minimum. DO NOT mix while it's cooking.
Cook a meal until rice becomes Al Dente. Turn heat off completely and let your pan stay 10-20 minutes under a lid.
Put pilaf in plates and add some greens - parsley, green onion.
So there are only two rules: a) equal parts for major 4 ingredients (meat, onion, carrot and rice) and b) do not mix rice with others because in this case your rice would be cooked as in steamer but on pillow with meat and veggies
Bon Appetite!
Looks delicious! Love a good rice dish like that
thank you!
It's also good with diced tomatoes as an addition to a pilaf
I also love rice pilaf. Your recipe looks better than my all-time favorite, at Red Lo ster.
I have to try your recipe. It looks and sounds so delicious!
and really easy to do
Wow ,, it's a very good meal, it makes me starve when I see it, if I were there, I would ask for it. This food is very delicious if we enjoy it with friends and family. @allfabeta
Definitely, the pilaf is a family dish. It's might be the only one dish on a family celebration table with a lot of fresh or pickled veggies plus some appetizers
Veggies MAKE Pilaf into pilaf.
I appreciate this recipe! I will definitely try it
Mmmm yummy
❤️❤️❤️❤️Wow so tasty!!!
Спасибо, Кристиночка!

Looks lovely, and looks pretty simple to cook too!
Yes, there only two rules: equal parts for all 4 main ingredients and do not mix rice with others - it will cook rice on a pillow of meat and veggies
Very good writing, you need to know I'm happy with writing like this, because it is very useful especially for me, thanks to share knowledge. Greetings from Aceh, an area that was once hit by the tsunami. @fahrilzubir
Have never heard of pilaf before, but it does look tasty and simple to cook especially with just putting the rice on top of the meat and veg. This means less washing up to do,also very useful.
Thanks for sharing.
I can cook a lot of dishes but with my busy schedule I prefer to adapt dishes to minimize my kitchen time
and also I'm lazy and instead of "put in a roster, then move to a pot" I adapt all my recipes to use minimum pots, casts for one a dish to avoid excessive washing after
Like the way you think.
This is soo cool :)
thank you!
