I don't think it should really matter which part of the fridge your store it in, since generally the temperature is about even throughout. The "back of the fridge" was more about sticking it somewhere out of the way, since it's not likely something you'll be reaching for all that often. In that regard, I think you'll be fine whichever part of the refrigerator you choose to store it in.
