I did some research not too long ago about UV spectrum vision and learned some interesting stuff. It turns out that weeds are notorious for offering an enticing sign for pollen to insects such as bees. We see weeds as a nuisance due to the simple fact we cannot see all the colors a plant truly has.

What region did you take these photos? I haven't seen this type of weed before.
