Does any one know what the name of this flower is?
I took a picture of this flower when I went hiking in Atlanta. It looks so beautiful and I would like to try to grow in my own garden if possible but no one has been able to help me with its name.

Mountain laurel, and that photo is gorgeous! I miss being able to grow them where I am now (too hot and dry, not enough shade). I absolutely loved the laurels when I lived in New York.
I have taken lots of flower picture which I will be posting soon. But this is one my fav flower and pic. Thank you for you comment.
