Havoc Flood in Kerala, India

Flood-hit Kerala is witnessing heavy spells of rain due to southwest monsoon. There have been 37% extra rain since June. The flood condition has become devastative and massive. More than 324 people have been died according to Kerala CM Pinarayai Vijayan. Approximately 223000 people have been rescued and they have taken shelter in 1568 relief camps across the state. Asia's largest arc dam has been releasing water at the rate of 10-15 lakh liters per second for the last four days. It's also increasing the crisis.

The rescue operation is going on in full swing. Army, Air Forces, Navy and NDRF personnel have been continuing rescue operation around the clock. Local fishermen have also joined in this rescue mission with their boats to help in evacuation of the stranded people in the various places in Aluva , Chalakudy, Perumbavoor and Kalady. Poperty of nearly 8000 crores have already been damaged.

The chief minister's office of Kerala have released a statement for help to rebuilt the lives of the people who have lost everything. Several NGOs around the globe have also been working and arranging relief fund for severe affected people.
