I dove into the Flath Earth Theory some months ago, but I am not a very technical or mathematical thinker. Some days ago I asked to my friend to look at this with me. He quickly pointed out the the fact that Polaris is not visible on the southern hemisphere. In a Flat Earth Model, it should be visible. So far, I have not heard a reasonable explanation how this would fit in a Flat Earth.

It's too far away to see. I know that sounds too simple of an explanation, but it's true. We only see the world within a 'bubble' of vision in all directions. Steem on!
No, it's not 'too far away to see', else the Southern cross would also be 'too far away' for people in Johannesburg , Tierra del Fuego, and New Zealand to all see at the same time. People in the southern hemisphere cannot see Polaris because it's hidden by the EARTH.
Stop posting nonsense and do some actual research instead of listening to cult gurus. Please end the ignorance and do the research.
Not to mention the fact that star trails in the Southern hemisphere show star trails with the Southern cross in the CENTER and star trails going in the opposite direction as stars in the Northern Hemisphere. There is no explanation for that on a flat earth, but a perfectly good explanation for that on a round earth.
Please stop the ignorant postings of easily verifiable things that are easily refuted.
