No I don’t understand. The bridge is obviously not built in one 25 mile long piece but in small segments. So there is no need on a globe Earth to take the curvature into account while building a long bridge. Why do you think there would be?

If you claim making a 25 mile long bridge on a globe Earth should somehow take the curvature into account, you also should be able to explain how and why in more detail. And since a bridge is obviously built in small segments there isn’t any need to consider curvature.
