RE: Fascists Behind @Adsactly Account

in #flags7 years ago

I was worried about the "faschist" part, too, but then I thought about it. Especially the inflationary way it is used nowadays made me pause. But then I figured it to be quite accurate.

Fascist means using the power of a group to intimidate others to silence them or to do their will.

I looked up the (now changed) first comments by adsactly:

  1. flagging into zero => silencing through the use of power (CHECK)
  2. intimidating to further silencing (CHECK)

The whole logical procedure "We are many, we have power, therefore you are wrong" is a very dangerous ground. THX @moon32walker for pointing that out.

I was looking at adsactly in a curious way. Now I know, that I don't want to be part of this "society".

Sort:

Omg I haven't even notice they edited that part out.

" You don't want to have a problem with the ADSactly society. Consider this the last warning."

There you go people, the cat is out of the bag.

Tnx for seeing things clear like I do, everything else is a noise they try to create and discredit me as a user.

That sentence was an overstatement and this is the only reason why we edited it. It does not comply with our worldview.

Well... succeeding only because I have put my head in the backside of a "society" and then bragging about how great and superior my mediocre content, is sounds to me as a quite strange worldview.
Personally I don't flag much, but I see the need for flags to be used as intended and not as offense (as you seem to see it... something you have to "protect" against).

Clearly this means, a member of your "society" can post any bullshit and will be "protected"... because you have power?! and because you are many?!

There are some "societies" out there acting in a similar way. I let you figure which ones.

The moral highground is a difficult thing.

Someone as powerful as you (and as many others around here) should just be able to shrug away such minor flags IF they are sure they got the moral highground OR change something about their behaviour, at least think about it if they are not sure about it.

Revenge killing of content is no good way to maintain the moral highground.
Of the above mentioned similar "societies" only a few follow this strategy and imho only the worst ones.

I know some of the members of your society and I see them as good people. I also know moonwalker personally, and I know that he is a good person.

Especially @velimir should know what it means to have or not to have 30 SBD in Croatia. Imho it's NOT the same to take away from one of the TOP earners here 5$ per post for the good of all ( !not incentivised by the steem blockchain ! ) AND taking away the full 100% reward of someone who actually cares.

I think YOU lost the moral highground, at least in my eyes.

Two of my blogs are flagged to 0 by @adsactly, and one more is flagged by @velimir. So yeah, the message they want to send is clear, if you flag them they will flag you back and reduce your posts to 0. At least now they are exposed.
Now they are manipulating the comments as you can see. What a bunch of lowlifes hiding behind huge amounts of steem power.

And I will not edit my comments like they did.

If you recognize that it was an overstatement then find the courage to apologize. Or, defend your words and motives to the end with readiness to accept all consequences. Otherwise, with your edits you are trying to destroy the evidence, to minimize the effects.
