Am I the only one who has problems with Fiverr closing down some gigs?

I'm an industrial engineer, for the past 13 years I've been using Microsoft Excel and I'm quite good at it. A couple of years ago I discovered Fiverr, I created a profile and started promoting my services in Excel.

As an average I made around $550 & $700 monthly, I work as a process improvement associate in a company, and with my fiverr income I've been paying rent, utility bills and saving some money.

Well, a couple of months ago fiverr started making some moves that I did like, I live in Costa Rica, Spanish is my native language, so I offered my gig both in English and Spanish. Fiverr turned my Spanish add down.

Most of my customer comes from US and Canada, so it did not have an important impact on my income. However, last month I received a notification that I needed to make an adjustment into my main gig (the one that sells the most), they wanted me to remove from my gig that I was able to make any homework, they said that it was against their policies, so I did remove that from the gig and either way the closed it down.

I did what they asked me to do and they did not care, they just closed my add. Last month I made $80 instead of the $500 I normally make.

I like fiverr (I obviously don't like the fact that they take 20% of your income), but I don't think that what they are doing is fair.

Any ways, if you want a take a look to my fiverr profile, you can go here:

Ya, I feel your pain. I used to make $100-$200/month writing on Fiverr but they kept changing their stuff and now I'm lucky to make $20 ... I barely use it anymore because of it, and nobody answers buyer requests

Yes!! That too! I'm planning on moving to some other platforms. I don't think Fiverr cares about freelancer, they just care about making their money no matter what.

That's another thing, the fees are ridiculously high. What other platform are you thinking about? I like their gig-like style

I'll have to do some more research, but this will gives you an idea: https://www.lifewire.com/fiverr-alternatives-3485761

By the way, you can offer your services here on Steemit, create a post and simply add this hashtag to it: #steemgig #steemgigs
