One final push to get my July fitness goal completed

I've been sticking to my running, like a good little boy and it's definitely starting to feel a little easier in the legs.

My weeks consist of 4 running days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Monday and Tuesday are short and sharpish, we'll to me they feel quick but I won't win any races at my pace. Wednesdays are a little bit longer and a little bit slower, I take Thursdays off to recover for a longer run on Fridays. Fridays are the days I like to get, or try and get 6 miles in...

An just a few hours ago, I managed to get another good long run in.

So at least I can tick 1 of the things off my "do to list"...

I'd set myself a target of running 2X 6 miles this month and there we go 6.3 miles 😁

I'll wait till the end of the month before jumping on the scales, I'm feeling better but that still don't know if I've lost the other 7lb to take me under my 17st target.

Just like my last 6 mile run, it started at a comfortably pace but by mile 4, my legs had turned to stone and my pace crashed. But I managed to get my breathing back under control and by the end of the 5th mile and pushing for home, my pace picked up and I was enjoying it.

JULY GOALS:

Run 2X 6 miles. ✔️
Lose 7lb. ❓

Not long to go now, I really hope I get below that 17st barrier, it will be a grest psychological boosts and help kick-start future weight loss and distance running.

Looks like you are running through those goals rather quickly (pun intended). I'm sure the remaining weight will come off soon if you keep up the routine. I myself need to get back to working out. Ever since I had my first child I've completely neglected my fitness routine. Maybe this post will help push me to start it up again. Good luck!

wish you all the luck..you killing it out there...stay fit :)
