I hope you get back into your running. Finding a local group or club might be a great way to cement it into your routine. And parkrun is a fantastic and friendly way to get running regularly.

I did it to support my girlfriend try and get fit again, I think she wants to start again and go hiking so it could happen :)

Good luck to both of you. If you haven't already check out parkrun (http://www.parkrun.org.uk/events/events/) - they're free 5k events you can walk, jog or run every Saturday morning. And it looks like there's a handful in and around Glasgow.
