You set yourself quite a challenge back then, I'm glad you did! This was inspiring to read.
Basically, anyone can sit at home and decide to change something about themselves and normally people choose ludicrous objectives that are also very vague. Such as "I'm gonna lose 40 pounds!"
I couldn't agree more with you about this. Oftentimes, people set weight goals, but what does the weight really tell? Not much... How about being able to run a mile, walk the stairs without being short of breath or learning a new skill? Exercising for these kind of goals and making little changes in one's diet could lead to so much better results overall. When focusing only on the weight, one can lose motivation so quickly.
