5 Exercises for Your Perfect Warm-Up Routine - Try This to Feel Active & Ready to Go!

in #fitness6 years ago

Are you properly warming up before you start training?

In the last couple of years, I have learned to really value a good warm-up when I train. A good warm-up helps the body to prepare physically and mentally for the upcoming movements and activities.

Today I like to show you one of my favorite Warm-Up Routine. It consists of five dynamic exercises that can be easily combined in one movement routine and can be done anywhere without any equipment. It's a combination of moves that will get you moving and ready for any kind of activity. Therefore these exercises are often referred to as movement preparations.

By doing this, you mobilize your spine and other important joints (such as hips, knees, and ankles) while warming up your overall body temperature. It will also dynamically stretch and open up important areas (like the hip flexor, hamstring, or pecs) that can be restricted after sitting too long. You will overall benefit from an increase in range of motion that will enhance any following movement pattern.

Therefore, this dynamic warm-up is perfect to do at the beginning of a training session. It will provide you with more energy and focus that leads to improved performance and overall injury prevention.

In addition to my video, I also created these pictures to provide you with some extra tips how to do the exercises.

Try it out and let me know in the comments what you think :)
