Who would have thought consistency was the key 🔑

You can buy every single program out there, get yourself a quick fix of accomplishment.

But unless you're mentally prepared for the journey, no program will get you the results you're looking for in any category.

Why?

Because you're not mentally prepared to see ZERO results in the first months.

It's an on-demand world we live in. You've been taught that you deserve anything you want without any effort.

We want everything INSTANTLY or else we turn into crybabies.

Instant access to our favorite food, tv-shows, progress and results with little to no effort.

Patience is becoming a rare virtue.

I think everyone knows how to get the results they want. Deep down everyone knows what needs to be done.

It's so easy to talk yourself out of it. The comfort is right there, why put yourself through this misery?

Because that's how you grow and build character.

The hard part is doing it over and over and over and over again for months, years with little, maybe no tangible results.

But what you don't realize is that you've built up momentum and a higher pain tolerance.

If you can keep doing that, in pursuit of any goal you have, you'll win.

Sort:

Today's society is definitely into the "quick fix" programs. That's why Beach Body has been able to successfully brainwash and recruit tens, if not hundreds of thousands of "coaches" to push their products onto other people (ahem, pyramid scheme).

Consistency is key with everything in life, as is moderation. If you over-do something, you're going to get bored or burned out and not want to continue.

Great post!

Easy to fall for if you're unprepared.

Thanks for your comment!

Now that's motivating. I'm just like the first picture right now with a lil bit of belly :P
Let me see what I can achieve in another month by being consistent! ;)
