I think that people forget how important rest days are. Hammering it in the gym day in and day out is great but without rest, your body will begin to breakdown. After all the gym is where you breakdown the body and sleep and rest is when you build it up!

Absolutely! You've gotta give your body a chance to recover and grow. For me, a rest day will also usually give me the best night's sleep as well :)
