RE: Skipping the catch-up post, let's talk fitness instead

Why am I back? Is it because crypto is on the rise again? I don't know.

A lot of us had been wondering the same.

What's even trippier though, is that I went through the exact same thing, and now getting back in shape, still haven't reached your level yet though, and being childless I can't even blame it on dad bods. smh

My plan of attack; Well I still eat whatever comes to mind but I also do substancial exercises from AthleanX's videos and some other asian dude whose name I can't remember, almost daily.

Welcome back, been a minute.

Ah hah, is the Asian dude Jeremy Ethier? He's on my list of YouTubers that I've been watching.

That's really funny about the similarities between you and I!

A calorie deficit is all you need, so go for it! One thing to remember: resistance training doesn't burn nearly as many calories as the same amount of time spent on cardio, so don't bump up your food intake just because you worked out that day.

I noticed that before when I was eating a really carb-heavy diet, my energy levels throughout the day fluctuated pretty wildly. As I got hungry, my energy dropped, and after I ate, I had a burst of energy. Now that I'm focused on more protein and less carbs, I have noticed that my energy levels stay very constant throughout the day. I also went from eating just twice a day on average to eating about four times a day, so that might have something to do with it too. But regardless of what you try, give vegetables a shot! They will fill you up big time.

Thanks for the comment, good to be back!

Can't remember, I'd seen his videos in 2014-15 and I remember some point he sold his channel. It's just his exercises were so intense and effective they are unforgettable.

Oh. I'd actually forgotten to mention this, I tend to consistently force myself to eat a lot of veggies, though I much prefer fruits for the energy effect.

I really need to do cardios more often though.
