Hello my name is yuvadeep from HYDERABAD,INDIA and Iam new to steemit.I hope to make friends,followers and get upvotes for my posts.Initially everyone introduces themselves in their first post i also planned to introduce myself in my first post but as today is our INDEPENDENCE DAY i want to post something about our Independence.

INDIA has got freedom on August 15th 1947 from British rule almost after 200 years of slavery.We celebrate our independence day on August 15th every year.On August 15th,1947 Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru (First Prime Minister Of INDIA) hoisted the
tri-color National Flag Of INDIA at Red Fort,New Delhi (Capital Of INDIA).

Jawaharlal Nehru after hoisting the National Flag for the first time.

Freedom is not free it took years of effort,sacrifice,non-violence and movements all over INDIA led by our freedom FIGHTERS etc.The Freedom movement in INDIA was led by the freedom fighters
(Mahathma Gandhi,Chandra Shekar Azad,Nethaji Subash Chandra Bose,Sardar Vallabhai Patel,Lokmanya Balgangadhar Tilak,Lala Lajpat Rai,Bhagat Singh,Dr. Rajendra Prasad,Moulana Abdul Khalam Azad,Sukhdev,Gopal Krishna Gokhale)
who struggeled a lot to get freedom from British rule. Independence day reminds us the struggle of the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for their country.

Independence Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country.Independence day in INDIA is celebrated with the hoisting of our National Flag by our Prime Minister in New Delhi, Saluted by 21 guns firing followed by our NATIONAL ANTHEM (JANA GHANA MANA........). Similarly Independence Day Celebrations takes place in all the states of our country where Governer and Chief Minister of that state becomes main guests for the event.

Independence Day-
-Inspires us to follow the teaching of peace and non-violence that was followed by Mahatma Gandhi (The father of our
Nation)
-Reminds us the duty and responsibility to our country.

THANK YOU,
@yuvadeep
