Sure :) come to the https://steemit.chat , meet new Steemers :) also check the https://steemit.com/faq.html

Also, what a lot of new Steemers do, they post in https://steemit.com/created/introduceyourself , introducing yourself. If you do this, make sure you use the introduceyourself tag in your post :)
