Empyrion -Galactic Survival First Impressions

in #first7 years ago (edited)

Any game that has the management of resources and the modular building has my attention. Add to that the large game area spanning several different planets with both PvP and PvE, and we're talking entertainment. Going into the game the graphics look dated, however, I can look past that as long as the game dynamics keep me busy and entertained.

So far the game has been rather confusing after the beginning tutorial of grabbing gear and making your way to a planet by teleportation from a starbase I presume was built custom by every server?

Once you get down to the surface things get even more confusing as you have no idea where to start. Maybe i missed though, not sure. Ive only put in a few hours so far and only got more frustrated.

ill be updating this review as i keep playing, maybe meeting up with some friends will improve the atmosphere xD

Edit 1:

The game mechanics are whack! to build a base i had to mine 5 different ores but they gave me only enough fuel to get exactly how much is needed. Any more, and you have to dive around the sea looking for seaweed to get more fuel.

dont even get me started on the fact that every ore deposit is underground in a sphere like hole that's impossible to get out of once you go in.

so far so good i guess rofl
still fun, more to come!
