Hindi Poetry
रात के वक्त, जब
सो चुकी है दुनिया,
कोयल भी अब शांत है,
मंद-शीतल पवन में,
झूलते हुए पत्ते,
फल-फूल, कांटे भी है,
नींद की आगोश में,
गहरे काले अन्धकार में,
छिपकर चाँद भी,
झपकी ले रहा है,
पसरा है सन्नाटा,
इधर-उधर सब जगह,
इंतजार है मुझे बस,
कब से, मेरी नींद का,
उम्मीद तो है कि आएगी,
जल्द ही, लेगी मुझे भी,
आगोश में अपने,
करके मेरे मन को शांत,
मष्तिस्क को विचार-शून्य,
पर क्या ये ठंडी हवा,
कर पायेगी शांत,
उस 'आग' को,
जो मन में लगी है।
