RE: Thanks for the upvote!

Hey, great idea turning to crowdfunding and people's generosity in times of need, I'm all for that. Just my 2 cents, to make it more compelling you should go "all out" and really promote this on multiple channels, not just Steemit - like Facebook, Twitter, blog/website, etc. Also, you should consider using a crowdfunding platform like gofundme.com to have a central hub with more details, photos, a video, etc. That legitimizes it and creates a central fundraising hub. Then you post updates along the way...also have your brother himself talk and/or write a bit, then people will be able to sympathize more (versus you just asking on his behalf). Anyway, best of luck and I do have some experience with crowdfunding so if you have any questions just ask!! Best of luck.

Thanks @jobsande I am grateful for the advice. I've got to be sincere, he's ashamed about it. I have opened a gofundme account but I am not sure of how to withdraw from Nigeria.

Oh I see, sorry to hear. Since you're based in Nigeria I'm not sure how the legal stuff works.
