Ripple has secured funding to release their new payment system Swift. Major banks are behind the funding such as Chartered (London Stock Exchange), Japan's SBI HoldingsAccenture Ventures, Siam Commercial Bank, SCB and Digital Ventures. Other additional investors include units of CME Group and Seagate Technology, Santander Innoventures, and Venture 51.
Since the news came out this afternoon from Australia Ripple's (XRP) price has risen over 40% at the time of writing.
