RI's Economy Grows 5.06%, Sri Mulyani: It's Something Good
Jakarta - Indonesia's economy grew 5.06% in the first quarter of 2018. The growth is better than the first quarter of 2011 of 5.01%.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said the growth was positive. Moreover, Indonesia's investment grew above 7% in that period.
"For the first quarter of 5.06% we see from the first quarter that some positive things emerge from here, firstly, that investment above 7%, 7.9% is something good, meaning that all government efforts to increase investment seem to have been began to happen a peak up, "he said in the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
