Today I selected the movie The Quiet Man (1952) for the daily movie recommendation which is directed by John Ford from which I have not seen anything else besides this movie, but I'm interested to see The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962), The Searchers (1956), The Grapes of Wrath (1940), Stagecoach (1939) especially.
Maybe you're wondering how I've come to see such old movies like The Quiet Man and my answer is due to lack of new movies and curiosity I pass to classic movies too, which proved to be worthy to watch.
I'm very careful when it comes to movies and I only select what I think is worth watching from new and old movies and from the newest I've seen a lot and from time to time I see classic movies which I began to see recently.
Let's get started and see why I liked this movie and I'll explain a few things about it.
The movie starts with the arrival of Sean Thornton in Castletown(Ireland) from where he want to go to Inisfree the place where he was born being curious from where does it come and wants to settle there , he also is a retired American boxer.
I really liked this movie because it's a enjoyable one from the beginning to the end being combined with a good quality comedy.
The cast is great which includes names like: John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Barry Fitzgerald, Victor McLaglen.
As many know, John Wayne is a known actor for the genre western and he managed to play well in this romantic comedy forming a perfect couple with Maureen O'Hara which has a rebellious personality in the movie.
The biggest surprise comes from Victor McLaglen which plays exceptionally for which he received an Oscar nomination interpreting Red Will Danaher who is Mary Kate Danaher's brother which does not support Sean Thornton for two reasons and they are:
it does not support hem because he wants to take one of his lands
he does not want to see Sean Thornton near his sister
In conclusion The Quiet Man is a great rom-com with a special humor which many will love it, with a great cast and a lovely story which I recommend to everyone even if it's an old movie It will pleasantly surprise you, and I'm curious about your opinions, also don't forget to request the movie genre which you like to be recommended for tomorrow.

Most recent post: It is official, WE are witnesses!
I have this bookmarked on archive.org and watch it once a month! It's one of those great movies that you never get tired of seeing. The entire cast is incredible... I really like Maureen O'Hara's brother Charles.
The little matchmaker is great also: "I'm here for Thorn Shornton..."
I wanted to say also about the little matchmaker who was a comic character and perfectly matched in the movie but I omitted it.Thanks for your opinion @richq11.
He is indeed!
