Good call the way you compared this film to "8 mile."

No way this is as emotive a film as that one, it's focus is too scattered.

But as hip hop history (albeit a bit of a hagiography as regards Dr Dre), for it's banging soundtrack, for it's energetic visuals, for it's intro of Ice Cube's son as a pretty credible actor, it's a top film.

And let's not ever mess with Suge Knight, know what I mean lol!
