A rumor installed during the last hours assures that Ewan McGregor will have a participation in Star Wars: Episode IX, directed by J. J. Abrams.
The prequel trilogy is not within the favorite saga of films for the bulk of Star Wars fans, however, the general consensus more than approved the participation of Ewan McGregor, playing a young Obi-Wan Kenobi, first as Padawan and later as a Jedi teacher.
That is why 13 years have been speculating and yearning for the return of the Scottish actor to the franchise, either with its uncertain spin-off or some participation in the new trilogy, which is already facing its final stretch.
Now, the new rumor comes from the hand of The Sun. According to the medium, we will see Ewan McGregor in Episode IX, since the actor would be recording a series of scenes in secret to appear in the film directed by J. J. Abrams. Recall that McGregor already had a small cameo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (also directed by Abrams), where he could hear his voice when King grabbed the saber that belonged to the Skywalkers.
Star Wars: Episode IX will arrive only in December of next year, but the cast is preparing to start filming in the coming days
