After several months of hard work, we’re happy to announce that FilmFundr in conjunction with New York Film Loft has just launched its full-fledged Beta. Using some of the latest in machine learning, lexical analysis and machine vision technology, they allow you to get an understanding of the potential audience of your film before release, get a financial valuation and connect with grants, tax partners and state and federal resources to get your film financed, not to mention highly targeted crowdfunding.
In not so many words,FilmFundr levels the playing field for low budget and minority filmmakers, using the technology tools they have to rearrange aspects of the film financing ecosystem to make it easier to tell minority, LGBTQ and other non-mainstream stories.
It’s timely because so many of these stories are untold, the more they are told, the easier it will be for society to move forward.
