Today I found this beautiful poetic film on YouTube. Its a Pakistani film. It is uploaded on Youtube by the makers of the film. I am sharing it here on Steemit , so that fellow Steemians can enjoy watching it over the weekend. The best part is, you can turn on the English subtitles on Youtube.
The film is about the life of a struggling contemporary poet. The contemporary poet reads a book about the life of a famous, 18th century Urdu poet, 'Mir Taqi Mir', and finds similarities with his own life.
Half of this film is contemporary, and half of the film shows 18th century poetic elites of Delhi.
I love the 18th century parts, beacause of the classic poetry, highly sophisticated mannerism and etiquettes, of the people, of that era.
