Castle De Seraphim, Pryldahn, 1437 ATC
It was another day inside Castle De Seraphim, the cool fall breeze rode the air outside. Inside the castle walls, down a particular hall, moans of pleasure could be heard from a solitary broom closet.
Though air was cool, and so too, was the youngest daughter of the Great God Emperor. She shivered in her large, overly cushioned chair as she hugged herself in an attempt to gather as much warm for herself as possible. Then, a harsh cough vibrated in her throat, followed by a few others that echoed in the large room around her. Another violent shiver. It would appear this one was ill, though, if asked, would never admit it. No, the woman just wanted to sleep. To drown in a blanket of warmth, to which for reason she could not obtain herself, no matter what she tried. She turned, this way and that in the chair, hoping she would drift off into sleep but it avoided her, unlike the annoying cough that lingered in her throat. Voices, mumbling and groans kept catching her ear, disturbing her already unpeaceful night. She growled and stood with a heavy blanket the practically swallowed her form. Her face was annoyed and pale. She would find the source of that incessant noise...and end it. She made her way into the hallway, following the sounds, her once graceful movements now slow and slightly clumsy though her posture was still straight. She may be ill, but she was still royalty and she would not allow an illness to taint her image.
When she would open the door to the broom closet, she would find a short, chubby brown haired servant girl with soft features and submissive hazel eyes, with her dress hiked up, and the serpent eyed court jester behind her, with his suit around his ankles doing what they did. At the sight they both stopped and looked at her. The servant girl blushed in embarrassment and moved away from Venser. ''M'lady.'' She bowed in respect to her before quickly exiting the broom closet. Venser didn't have much of a reaction as she stood in front of her. ''Y'vonne.'' He gestured once more out the door, still pretty much naked in front of her. ''Uh... Ya know you got some nice servants around here. Her names Kimmy. She works in the kitchen and makes the best rolls you'll ever fucking taste.''
''Kimmy Burnham, yes.'' The woman was not all surprised by the state she found the couple in. Her face was harsh and unamused and she merely blinked and stepped aside as the girl exited the closet. The blanket she held around her was hugged more tightly as a rather violent shiver of a cold wave washed up her spine. Y'vonne bit back a cough that tickled her throat as she starred at the half naked man. How irritating.
"I ask Venser," The woman started with a cracked from. No doubt a side effect from all of her previous coughing. "That you do not... Distract the servants from their duties, yes?" She knew this was folly, but wanted to make it clear that we would never do such things again. She sounded irritated, more stuck-up than usual, which was hard to imagine honestly. But, what would one expect? She has been lacking sleep. One could tell just by looking at her lightly red-lined eyes and dark circles.
"Do dress yourself." She snapped. Though soon, she couldn't hold back the cough anymore, so she turned her head sharply to her right to cough. It came out scratchy and weak. When she found a break from her fit, she added. "I do find it pleasing that you enjoy the benefits of the servants," She sighed deeply. "And their cooking was one of the ONLY things I hoped you'd indulge in."
The bearded man nodded in affirmation and pulled up the leopard print thong he wore beneath his baggy red pants. ''The food is good and the servant girls are lovely.'' He cocked his head to he side, looking to her. ''Are you alright? You look tired. And sick.''
The obnoxiously thin woman all but rolled her electric blue eyes at his comment about the servant girls. Of course he would think so. She turned fully now to allow him to dress himself, her back now to him. Once he finished and he inquired about her health and huffed and stood straighter. "Of course I am alright." She practically hissed. She held her nose in the air, but in her throat threatened another cough.
''Oh c'mon. No you aren't.'' Venser said pointing to the bags beneath her reddened eyes. ''Either that or you've been smoking too many cigars. Happens to me occasionally.'' He looked around. ''Shall we walk? Go back to wherever you were sitting or laying down rather then chatting in a broom closet.''
She now glared at the man. "I do not smoke cigars... Often." She said slowly as she soon found her feet moving down the hallways, her blanket trailing behind her like a long veil. Rest... Yes... Rest is what she wanted. Her eyelids grew so heavy so wobbled a bit on her feet, one hand reaching out to reach for balance on a wall. Summerland, her head was spinning, her vision blurring. But, she fought it. She squeezed her eyes shut, willing the foggy cloud that draped over her mind away. "A- … Are you well this night?" She needed to talk, to stay awake. ''You and your family looked at that piece of property I recommended, yes?''
''Oh yes, pretty damn well actually.'' Venser said said as they walked, he watched Y'vonne stumble down the hall, having to use the wall for support. He sighed knowing she could barely stand up right, he took her arm and put it around himself, helping her walk. ''I just got back to the castle yesterday. After being away on a family vacation for a little more than a week. How about yourself, Y'vonne? I know, I've been around less and less... Doing my duties of entertaining you and everyone else, and spent the summer trying to get everything move into the villa and set everything up.''
She hummed to herself, leaning against him once the bearded man had reached out and settled her arm around his self. A few servants passing by gasped at the sight of someone outwardly touching one of the daughters as such but made no noise or effort to object. "Vacation? How lovely..." She coughed now again, and a few more times after that. She breathing now came slow and steady, her mind now half asleep already. "Me?... I've...been busy." And that was it. She vision went out, the woman now dead weight to the man as she now lay collapsed in his arms.
''Well hello beautiful...'' Venser said a brunette female servant with a thin hourglass figure. She blushed seeing how nicely he cleaned up, his crimson and turquoise tunic was nice and smooth and he was well groomed. Not to mention his pretty green eyes. He was oblivious to the reason why they were gasping. ''Yup! Took my twins and their mom and Sanna and our new baby Rowena and a few other lovers to Crown City Grigwald. We really have to go to the city of Gideonice when they have Carnival, several days of partying wearing masks and just dancing in the streets...'' He stopped at the chair that Y'vonne had originally sat in prior to discovering Venser and Kimmy. ''So what have you-'' He set her down and stopped talking once he realized she was out cold. ''Y'vonne!'' He said raising his voice, clapping his hands together.
''Oh great...'' Scooping the God Queen up in his arms he sighed and began to walk Y'vonne to her room, concerned about her paperwork load now. Hopefully he could somehow help her with it when she awoke.
